Our accessibility goal
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This statement does not claim that every page fully conforms. Accessibility review and improvement are ongoing, including manual testing that automated tools cannot replace.
Measures currently in place
- A keyboard-visible link to skip repeated navigation
- Semantic headings, landmarks, lists, and labelled navigation
- Visible keyboard focus and colour contrast designed for readable text
- Responsive layouts that reflow on smaller screens
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and hidden treatment of decorative icons
- Optional page narration with keyboard-operable playback controls
- Interactive maps that remain off until a visitor chooses to load them
Known limitations
Some older medical illustrations are being reviewed for anatomical clarity, image quality, source attribution, and the precision of their text alternatives. Complex medical terminology may also remain difficult despite efforts to use plain language. Assistive-technology testing will continue as pages and figures are updated.
Feedback and alternate formats
If a page, control, document, image, or audio feature is difficult to use, call the clinic at 780-421-4728. Please identify the page and the format or assistance that would be useful. We will review the barrier and work with you on a reasonable alternative.
